THE NEW INN, 107 Derby Road, Heanor DE75-7QL. A pleasant working
mans public house, based on traditional public house activities and practices,
and sporting a good range of beers, lager, bottled drinks and shorts. A
lively place at the weekends with traditional entertainment on Friday and
most Saturday evenings. Bingo and a quiz takes place most Sunday evenings.
The pub sports section has active darts and domino teams, with both
men and ladies sections, and plays in local leagues. An extensive beer
garden is provided with play facilities for children. Regular barbecue's
are held here in the summer months.
